Adoptions are what we work towards! An animal has come into our care, received all necessary medical attention, support and is ready for a secure and loving future. One of the most rewarding sights is seeing them with their new adoptive family where they can be the center of attention.
Adoption is a fairly simple process and begins with an application. We use this information to help ensure each animal is placed into a home suited to their individual needs and that all parties feel happy and comfortable.
After an application is approved, a fee is paid: $120-125 for cats and $225 for dogs. This fee helps offset the cost of the animal’s care while in our system. The adoption is then finalized with an agreement where we agree to relinquish the animal into your care and you agree to care for the animal.
At this point you are welcome to take your new forever friend home. A 2 week trial period begins at the time of adoption. If the animal is not a good fit you are welcome to return it for a full refund or for another animal to tryout.
